In Bangladesh, six people were killed in the explosion of a suicide bomber from ISIS

MOSCOW, March 26. /TASS/. A suicide bomber led on Sunday in action the explosive device near an army checkpoint in North-Eastern Bangladesh. Six people were killed and dozens wounded, according to Reuters.

The incident occurred near the local airport Sylhet region at the border with India. Two of the dead were law enforcement officers. Responsibility for attack was assumed by the terrorist group “Islamic state” (IG, is prohibited in Russia).

ISIS is not the first time the military attacks in Bangladesh. On Friday, a suicide bomber blew himself up at a police checkpoint near the entrance to the territory of the international airport of Dhaka. Last week the explosion occurred in the camp of rapid action battalion in Ascona, which is just half a kilometer from the capital.
