A court in the Yemeni capital, sentenced in absentia President Hadi to death

The court in the capital, Sana’a, Yemen — on the territory controlled by the movement of housetop, on Saturday, March 25, was sentenced in absentia ousted President Abd-rabbu Mansour Hadi to death for treason. About it reports Reuters.

A similar sentence passed against six senior officials of the government of Hadi, including Ambassador Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak and former foreign Minister Riyadh Yassin.

Deposed President was found guilty of “aiding and abetting the aggressor state Saudi Arabia and its allies.”

In the civil war going on in Yemen, on the same side fighting the military wing of the Houthis, the Shiite movement “Ansar Allah”, and those loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh of the army. They are opposed by the troops of ousted Sunni President Abd-rabbu Mansour Hadi and the Saudi-led coalition.

At the end of March 2015, the Saudis and their allies began a campaign against the rebels with the aim of returning to power Hadi.
