The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Russia reacted to Ukraine’s refusal to let Samoilov on “Eurovision”

The Russian foreign Ministry commented on the Kiev’s decision to ban the entry to Ukraine of Yulia Samoilova — the representative of Russia at “Eurovision”. The words of the source in the foreign Ministry is quoted by RIA Novosti.

“This is a cynical and inhuman decision”, — said the Agency interlocutor.

Earlier Wednesday, 22 March, the security Service of Ukraine refused to allow the performer to the contest, forbidding her entry for three years. “The decision was made on the basis of the data on violation of legislation of Ukraine”, — has explained a press-the Secretary of SBU Elena Gitlyanskaya.

Prior to this it was noted that the Ukrainian intelligence Agency checks the information about the performance Samoilova in June 2015 in the Crimea — Russian territory, which Kiev considers its but temporarily occupied (Ukraine established there a specific order of entry and exit).

Ukraine won the right to host “Eurovision-2017” after singer Jamal with a song “1944” victory in this competition in 2016 (held in Stockholm). The event will be held in Kiev. Dates of semi — finals on may 9 and may 11, the final will take place on may 13. The host of the “Eurovision-2017” will present the rock band O. Torvald.
