The claim about Russian intervention in the presidential election declined in the United States

MOSCOW, 21 Mar — RAPSI. The Federal court of South Carolina upheld the consideration of a lawsuit demanding to annul the results of U.S. presidential elections, won by Donald trump, on the grounds that the results could be affected by the intervention of Russia.

As follows from the materials of the case, the statement of claim was filed by a resident of the state of Parmananda, Beharry, which insists that the elections had violated the Constitution of the United States. As the defendant was declared Congress-the speaker of the lower house of Parliament Paul Ryan and Joe Biden, who is about 36 years was a Senator from the state of Delaware.

According to Beharry, the results of the election should be annulled because of US citizens supposedly was the influence including via the media.

The court rejected the claim, noting that the statements made are not sufficiently justified.

Meanwhile, the Federal Bureau of investigation (FBI) is conducting an investigation in connection with suspicions that Moscow could intervene in the electoral processes in the United States. On Monday, the Congress held a public hearing on the matter, which made FBI Director James Comey and Director of national security Agency Mike Rogers.

According to Congressman Devin Nunes, the hearings will be considered three fundamental issues: what exactly could Russia take in the course of the race, possible surveillance of the headquarters of the trump on the part of the Obama administration and the sources of information leaks to the media.

The Kremlin believes these hearings in Congress is an internal affair of the United States, said the press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov.
