Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will visit Russia in the third week of April, reports RIA “Novosti” reported the Minister of foreign Affairs of Japan, Fumio Kishida at a press briefing following the talks on security issues in the format of “2+2” in Tokyo.
During the visit, is scheduled to meet Abe and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“We confirmed that if circumstances permit, in the third week of April, Prime Minister Abe will visit Russia and meet President Putin. And we came to a consensus that will accelerate the preparation for the meeting of our leaders,” said Kishida.
Earlier, the Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov confirmed that President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe will be held in 2017. It was reported that was agreed upon Abe’s visit to Russia — the far Eastern economic forum in September.
