The Kurds announced the creation of a Russian military base in Northwest Syria
Russia and the Kurdish people’s protection Units signed an agreement on joint fight against terrorism, reports Reuters with reference to the representative of the group.
According to the Agency, Russia creates new military base in North-West Syria in the town of Afrin. In addition, under the agreement, Russian forces will provide military training members of the Kurdish groups.
The representative group also noted that the agreement was signed Sunday, at the present time Russian troops and armored vehicles have already arrived in Afrin.
