MOSCOW, 20 Mar — RIA Novosti. The Ministry of justice is preparing amendments to the criminal code article on which the condemned Ildar Dading, the article provides for the punishment for repeated violations at rallies, the newspaper “Izvestia” with reference to the Deputy Minister Dmitry Aristov.

“The Russian government instructed the Ministry of justice to study the question of possible adjustments to article 212.1 of the Criminal code, providing punishment for repeated violations at rallies”, — the newspaper writes.

According to the publication, at this stage, we conducted a study of the decisions of the COP, “deadline for proposals will be prepared”. The newspaper notes that their development will take about three months.

Ildar Dading was the first Russian convicted under a criminal article about repeated violations at rallies.
