The Iraqi air force killed six leaders of the IG

In the result of air strikes by Iraqi aircraft managed to destroy six of the leaders of the terrorist organization “Islamic state” (IG, is prohibited on the territory of the Russian Federation), informs television channel Al Sumaria, citing military intelligence.

According to the channel, among the killed in Mosul leaders was a Russian citizen Abdul Karim al-Rusy, nicknamed Abu Samir, who led the “Battalion of Tariq Ibn Ziyad”.

It is also known that among the other dead commanders — terrorists of France (Abu Mehaf), the UK (Abu Hafs), Turkey (Abu Jamal) and Morocco (Abu Saleh and Abu Dua al-Maghribi).

Iraqi government forces are continuing the operation to liberate the Western part of Mosul.
