Russians most often dream of people, fish, children and snakes. This is evidenced by the study of “Yandex” based on the analysis of search queries with the words “what dreams”, published on the website of the company.
“Women and men having different dreams. In women’s dreams the most common man, woman, child, pregnancy, fish and man, and the men — snake, fish, man, girl, tooth,” the study says. It is noted that women are looking for the interpretation of dreams 10 times more often than men.
About two percent of all queries is devoted to fish and snakes. As often Russians see in my dreams dogs, cats and rats. The most popular color in dreams — white, action — dying, and part of the body — the hand.
According to the study, the most common dreams are not dependent on place of residence. However, in the Magadan and Sakhalin oblasts and Kamchatka people often dream of bears, and in Ingushetia all white — house, roses, horses, sheets.
Muscovites often have metro, train and St. Matrona, St Petersburg — subway, blueberries and cranberries, the inhabitants of the Crimea, the sea, dolphins and waves. In the Chelyabinsk region, people see the meteorites, Kursk, Lipetsk, Orel and Ryazan regions popular dreams with the saints, priests, and icons.
The only particular person, who is often seen in a dream, — the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. Often dream of him in Chechnya.
Yandex analyzed search queries from 1 September 2016 to 28 February 2017.
