The Kremlin has accused Ukraine of undermining their own territorial integrity

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that Ukraine deliberately undermines its own territorial integrity, leaving its citizens without support. His words on Friday, March 17, the correspondent “Tapes.ru”.

“How a country — in this case Ukraine — has strongly and consistently rejects from their own regions, thereby condemning millions of its citizens to live without social, no Bank, no medical, no legal and documentary support, of course, is quite an unprecedented situation,” said Peskov.

According to him, the Kremlin believes that it is not yet time to cancel the decision on recognition in Russia of documents of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk national republics (DND and LNR).

“This measure is really necessary and above all Moscow was guided by humanitarian considerations. And how developed, to our regret, the situation demonstrates the correctness of the decisions that were taken in this direction”, — said Peskov.

Press Secretary of the head of state also added that Russia can not leave residents of Donbas without humanitarian aid and assistance.

Earlier, Russia’s permanent representative to the OSCE Alexander Lukashevich said that Moscow could cancel the decision on recognition of documents of the breakaway republics if Kiev complies with the Minsk agreement.

On 15 March the Council of national security and defense of Ukraine confirmed complete cessation of transport links with the republics of Donbass to return in the jurisdiction of the Ukrainian enterprises located on their territories.

On 1 March the authorities LNR and DND introduced external management at the Ukrainian enterprises located on their territory.

In February the President of Russia Vladimir Putin has signed the decree about recognition of the Russian Federation of documents and license plates of vehicles issued to citizens of Ukraine and stateless persons permanently residing on the territories of separate districts of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
