In the Austrian Alps avalanche caught a group of five skiers

In Austria the result of an avalanche killed two skiers, the newspaper Daily Mail. The incident occurred on Friday, March 17, in the district of Tyrol, near St Anton. The avalanche slid down the mountain and hit a group of five skiers.

Workers emergency services started clearing the area where there are athletes. To date, two bodies were found, their identity is not yet established.

Before that, on Wednesday, March 15, in the same province came under an avalanche were eight climbers. Four managed to escape and call emergency services. Four of them died.

Just last year in the Austrian Alps has killed 267 people. The average for the last 10 years has killed 297 people, 17 of them as a result of avalanches.
