The Kremlin has denied the FSB involvement in the cyber attacks on the Yahoo!

FSB was involved in the hacking of Yahoo! and other American servers, said Dmitry Peskov. He stressed that Russia is ready to cooperate with other countries in the field of cybersecurity.

None of the Russian authorities, including the FSB, was not involved in the attacks, said the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov.

He commented on the criminal case of the U.S. justice Department against the FSB Dmitry Dokuchaev & Igor Susina and hackers Alexey Belan and Baratov Karim.

“We have repeatedly said that absolutely can not speak about any official involvement in any of the Russian authorities, including the FSB, to any illegal actions in cyberspace,” Peskov said (quoted by “RIA Novosti”).

According to him, Moscow has learned about this situation from the media. The us authorities provided no official information about this.

“Russia has always been interested and talking about it on various levels, cooperation in the field of combating cybercrime and ensure cybersecurity. We believe that in our time, this is one of the priorities,” continued the press Secretary of the President.

He expressed hope that the Russian authorities will receive the information via the official channel.
