The first stage of the program of renovation of the housing stock of the capital will be funded from the city budget. About it at the exhibition MIPIM in Cannes, said the head of the Department of urban planning policy of Moscow Sergey Levkin.
“First, we need to work out all the issues and difficult points of this program. It will be necessary to elaborate the entire mechanism of the new program and to eliminate possible errors. In this regard, in the first stage, we will not attract investors and will manage the city budget”, – quotes “Interfax” Levkin.
He also added that in the future this program will be actively engaged investors.
A new program of demolition of five-storey buildings will affect about 8 thousand houses, which are home to 1.6 million residents. According to preliminary estimates, on it will spend nearly 2.4 trillion rubles.
