Peskov: decision on the candidate for the post of permanent representative to the UN yet
MOSCOW, March 14. /TASS/. Candidates for the post of permanent representative of Russia to the UN is not yet defined.
This was reported by TASS press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov.
“While there is no solution”, — he said.
Earlier media reported, citing unnamed sources, that as candidates are considered, in particular, Russia’s envoy to NATO Alexander Grushko or Deputy foreign Minister Anatoly Antonov.
Who previously held the post of permanent representative of Russia to the UN Vitaly Churkin died 20 Feb.
Currently the acting head of the Russian mission fulfilled by his first Deputy Pyotr Ilyich.
