White house: trump’s words of wiretapping not to be taken literally

The statement of the President of the United States Donald trump about that the previous head of state Barack Obama listened to his telephone conversations should not be taken literally, said the press Secretary of the White house Sean Spicer.

“Nightmare! Just found out that Obama organized a “wiretap” my tower just before the victory. Haven’t found anything. This is McCarthyism!” — wrote the President on Twitter.

Spicer said that trump was not accused of anything specific its predecessor.

“The President used the word “wiretapping” in quotes, which meant the observation and other activities in the broad sense,” said Spicer told reporters.

“There are many tactics that can be used to track someone through wiretapping or other means,” he added, without going into details.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of justice asked for more time to study these charges.

The parliamentary Committee on intelligence and security had earlier asked the Department to provide any evidence to support the claims of the President by Monday, March 13. However, the representative of the Ministry said that the Ministry of justice requires “additional time to determine whether there are any relevant documents”.

Despite repeated requests, the White house still has not provided any evidence of the accusations trump.
