The head of delegation of the International Committee of the red cross (ICRC) in Syria, Marianne Gasser made positive reviews in the Russian military in the conflict zone, reports “Kommersant“. She also said that the ICRC plans to expand its cooperation with Russia in Syria.
“We had very close contacts with the Russian military, especially before and during the evacuation of civilians. They helped us,” said Gasser.
She added that now the Russian army is helping in Aleppo – the military engaged in the clearance of the city. According to her, this Syrian city was one of the most affected during the fighting.
