Russia and Egypt have agreed on the final Protocol of the aviation security

Russian Federation and Egypt have agreed on the final Protocol for aviation security, it is reported by TASS with reference to the statement of the Minister of transport of Russia Maxim Sokolov.

After the signing of the agreed Protocol countries will be able to restore air communication, and it now remains only to agree on the date, time and place of the signing.

“It (the Egyptian side – approx. ed.) just don’t let a date, a place and time for the signing of this agreement, and all issues are agreed,” explained Sokolov.

Flights between Russia and Egypt was interrupted in November 2015 in connection with the crash of the Sinai to the plane of the Russian airline “Kogalymavia”, flying from Sharm El Sheikh to St. Petersburg. Onboard there were 217 passengers, seven crew members, they all died.
