Earlier it was reported that on Tuesday morning in the port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky moored secondary fishing freezer vessel “Emerald”, on Board of which there were bodies of four crew members. According to the RIA Novosti source in the regional Ministry of transport, before the death of men drinking methyl alcohol. Another five sailors were hospitalized with poisoning.
“One of the men was in critical condition. He was admitted to the emergency Department of the Kamchatka regional hospital. Doctors were unable to save the patient’s life. The cause of poisoning was the use of methyl alcohol. These data were obtained in the result of the analysis of blood”, — the press service quoted Deputy Chairman of the government of the Kamchatka territory Valery Karpenko. It is noted that the final cause of death of other victims of the incident on a fishing vessel will be determined after conducting a forensic medical examination.
