Foreign Ministry checks information about detention of the Russian journalist in Odessa

The official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said that the foreign Ministry verifies information about the alleged detention in Ukraine Russian journalists.

“So far no information. We understand,” Zakharova said the radio station “Moscow speaking”, commenting on reports about the detention of Russian journalist in Ukraine.

Earlier media reported that the employees of the security Service of Ukraine allegedly was detained in Odessa a Russian journalist. According to media reports, the reporter was detained on Saturday, March 11. He allegedly is an employee of TV channel “Russia 1”. States that he is accused of espionage in favor of Russia. Official confirmation or refutation of the information not yet received. In a press-service of VGTRK, in turn, RIA Novosti reported that “neither the correspondents of the TV channel “Russia 1”, or the correspondents of the TV channel “Russia 24″ there was not.”
