FSB Colonel Sergei Gribanov, who oversaw the work of several departments of the MIA of Russia, placed in state control “M” on the results of operational inspections, reports Novaya Gazeta, citing law enforcement sources. According to the publication, the inspection was initiated after charges of corruption who worked in the Main Directorate of economic security and counteraction of corruption (Guebipk) interior Ministry Colonel Dmitry Zakharchenko.
As explained sources of the newspaper, Sergei Gribanov was transferred to the Department “M” FSB from Kalmykia. The initiator of the appointment of the officer, made working the head of Department Vladimir Maksimenko. According to the newspaper, Colonel Gribanov worked together with applying for on the translation of Dmitry Zakharchenko in Guebipk Dmitry Senin. “Novaya Gazeta” notes that Colonel Zakharchenko could also be linked with other management staff of “M”.
Dmitry Zakharchenko was detained September 8, in the case of abuse of office and obstruction of preliminary investigation. The next day against him also, it was prosecuted for receiving a bribe. During the searches, the officer in total were detected in approximately 9 billion rubles under arrest Dmitry Zakharchenko pleaded not guilty.
