The Council of the European Union extended sanctions against Russia and Ukraine

The EU Council for six months extended the validity of individual sanctions against Russian citizens and legal entities of the Russian Federation and Ukraine. About it reported in a press-Department service.


 


Currently in the sanctions list includes 146 individuals and 37 legal entities from Russia and Ukraine.


 


Earlier, the European Commissioner for European neighbourhood policy Johannes Hahn stated that the grounds for cancellation of sanctions against Russia. He told about it in interview “Radio Freedom”. He also added that the easing of the sanctions regime depends on the fulfillment of the Minsk agreements.
