Sergey “Spider” Troitsky intends to sue Montenegro tens of thousands of euros

BELGRADE, 13 Mar — news, Nikolay Sokolov. The leader of group “metal Corrosion” Sergei “Spider” Troitsky, who was convicted and then acquitted in Montenegro intends to seek compensation from this state tens of thousands of euros, reported RIA Novosti his daughter Catherine Trinity.

“Sergey intends to seek damages. Busy with his lawyer in Montenegro,” said Trinity.

Trinity in 2016, was sentenced to imprisonment Montenegrin court for causing damage to property, has been under arrest for a total of six months and was released after appeal.

According to Catherine, the amount of damage during the period of serving an unjust punishment can amount to tens of thousands of euros. However, she noted that prosecutors can appeal the acquittal.

Now, as reported Trinity, the musician is in Russia and is preparing to continue his concert activity.

“Besides, father is preparing the release of memoirs in the prison they were written about two thousand pages, and various art projects based on artistic materials in its execution, made while in custody,” said the daughter of a musician.

The incident, which implicated the Trinity, took place on 3 September in the Montenegrin resort town of Budva, when the house belonging to another citizen of the Russian Federation, there was a fire. The reason has been called arson, and the court of the city Bar in October 2016 has found in this Russian musician guilty and sentenced him to 10 months in prison for the destruction and harm other people’s property.

Trinity pleaded not guilty, and the lawyer appealed against the verdict. In the result the High court in Podgorica overturned the conviction ruling and returned the case for retrial. The appeal was eventually granted on 28 February, after which the Trinity was released from custody.

As explained by RIA Novosti in the Main court of the city of Bar, on the writing of the sentence within 30 days, then to appeal and the Prosecutor’s office and lawyers.
