MOSCOW, March 13. /TASS/. Russia was forced to withdraw the draft statement of the UN Security Council, condemning the terrorist attack in Damascus, because of the attempts of Western countries to change the orientation of the document to include provisions to read as accusations against the Syrian authorities and justifying the actions of terrorists. This is stated in comments posted Monday on the website of the foreign Ministry.

“It is regrettable that the Syrian plot, the Security Council does not always find a common denominator,” said the Ministry.
