The new Ambassador of Armenia in Russia Vartan Toganyan intends to establish contacts with the Russian enterprises of small and medium-sized businesses and to “actively travel to Russia”.
The President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Friday appointed as the new Ambassador of Republic in Russia Taganana, who previously held the position of Chairman of the Russian private company “Eurasian Media Group”.
“I will actively travel to Russia and establish contacts with the enterprises of small and medium business”, — said on Friday, Tahanan in an interview with Sputnik-Armenia.
According to the Ambassador, economic relations will develop dynamically thanks to the accession of Armenia to the Eurasian economic Union.
“There are so many investment projects. After the recent visit of the Prime Minister (Karen Karapetyan in Russia – ed.) reached important agreements, including the establishment of an investment Fund, cooperation between enterprises, the Ministry of industry and trade of the Russian Federation, our agencies. And I guess on this we will concentrate,” said Toganyan.
Also work will go to humanitarian and educational spheres, strengthening public diplomacy, communications and civil societies. “And the special role we attach to the relations between the regions”, — said the Ambassador.
