“I’m not going to participate in ostentatious event that is not an attempt at serious investigation, because this is really serious,” said Congresswoman Jackie Speyer, noting that without a “legal, comprehensive and deep investigation” is meaningless.
“Most of us consider it impossible to participate in any cover-up or whitewashing, so if necessary, we will refuse [from the investigation],” — said a member of the house of representatives Jim hymes.
The leader of the Democrats in the intelligence Committee, Adam Schiff called the unlikely possibility of conducting a credible investigation, the results of which would satisfy both Democratic and Republican parties. The first serious test, he said, will be the Committee hearing, scheduled for March 20.
