The trail traces were found on one of the back roads in a mountainous area near the town of Longjing in Yanbian Korean Autonomous district in August 2015.

“On those trails discovered 55-centimeter footprints of hadrosaurs (dinosaurs of the duck-family, approx. TASS). Animals who left them could be up to seven meters long”, — said the Agency Professor of the Chinese University geophysical Sciences Xing Lida.

Among the findings, he added, also trails, which went carnivorous dinosaurs, with tracks ranging from 21 to 43 inches.

These findings, said a Chinese scientist, will allow to better understand the landscape of this area during the Cretaceous period, which began 145 million years ago and ended 66 million years ago.
