TOKYO, March 12. /Offset. TASS Cyril Agafonov. A magnitude 5.3 earthquake occurred in North-Eastern Japan off the coast of Fukushima Prefecture. This was reported by the Japan meteorological Agency.
The earthquake lies at a depth of 50 km. Information on casualties or damage, as well as on emergency situations in the emergency plant “Fukushima-1” is not received.
