VLADIVOSTOK, March 12. /TASS/. The United States will have to lift the sanctions against Rosoboronexport for the procurement of spare parts for repair of Mi-17 helicopters delivered to Afghan army. This was stated by the head of state Corporation “rostec” Sergey Chemezov in interview to the program “working noon”, a fragment of which was shown in the TV channel “Russia 1”.

“With the United States we have almost no cooperation directly, with the exception of helicopters, which we have set for the army of Afghanistan. About 50 transport helicopters Mi-17 were manufactured and delivered. Today the challenge is how to repair them, so the Americans are forced again to cancel the sanctions against Rosoboronexport to procure spare parts”, – he said.
