Turkey stopped the ferry communication with the Crimea

SIMFEROPOL, March 11 — RIA Novosti, Victor Liashenko. Turkey stopped the ferry communication with the Crimea, Turkish ports have two weeks closed to Crimean courts, said the Director of the company-operator of ferry lines “Crimean sea Agency” Stanislav Gvozdyov.

Ferry connection between Crimea and Turkey resumed in late October last year.

Then the first ferry of the Russian “Varyag” left the port of Sevastopol in Zonguldak.

“Ferry service with Turkey have been suspended… From the Crimea ferries do not accept, it has lasted two weeks,” — told RIA Novosti Gvozdyov.

According to him, the reasons for its decision, the Turkish side did not specify. To Turkey from the Crimea there were a few ferries.

Gvozdikov stressed that the suspension of the ferry service made it impossible for the supply of goods and products from Turkey to the Crimean region.
