The Swiss police has canceled a speech by the head of the Turkish foreign Ministry

Swiss police have canceled a meeting of representatives of the Turkish community, with Turkish foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu. About it reports Reuters.

As explained to the guards, this was done for security reasons. The police considered that the event represents “a significant risk” to participants.

Meeting Mevlut Cavusoglu with living in the Canton of Aargau in Northern Switzerland nationals was scheduled for Friday evening, March 10. The Minister was planning to speak to them a speech, urging to vote for the new Constitution.

The next event is scheduled for Sunday, March 12, but it has not yet managed to find suitable premises. It was initially supposed to hold a meeting in one of the hotels near Zurich, but it was rejected for reasons related to security.
