The killer of the Ambassador of Russia to Turkey Andrei Karlov mevlüt Altıntaş before the crime searched the Internet for information not only about the Russian diplomat, but US Ambassador to Turkey John bass, investigators believe the attacker could be an attempt on him, according to the newspaper Milliyet, citing the investigation.

The newspaper reports that Turkish investigators have contacted Gmail with a request to provide letters, worn by Altıntaş within two hours after the murder. However, the postal service stated that to recover these letters is impossible.
