John Goodman honored with star on the Hollywood walk of fame
MOSCOW, March 11. /TASS/. The star with the name of a famous Hollywood actor John Goodman appeared on Friday, March 10, on the Hollywood walk of fame. This was reported on the official website of the walk of fame.
“It’s incredible. It would be wrong at this point not to remember those without whom I would not be here: my mother and my teachers,” said 64-year-old actor at the ceremonial meeting on the occasion of the opening of the star. Goodman admitted he now felt “really part of Hollywood.” He received a plaque with a copy of the mortgaged stars, and during a photo shoot lay down on the sidewalk, posing for numerous photographers.

The ceremony was attended by the Hollywood star Jeff bridges, a friend and partner of the Goodman of the legendary Coen brothers movie “the Big Lebowski” (The Big Lebowski, 1998). “John has long been a legend,” said bridges.
A 40-year career, Goodman has played in more than a hundred paintings. Famous it made the films of the Coen brothers, “Barton Fink” (Barton Fink, 1991), “the Big Lebowski”, “Oh, where are you, brother?” (O Brother, Where Art Thou?, 2000). Goodman starred in the film “King Ralph” (Ralph King, 1991), “the Flintstones” (The Flintstones, 1994), “the Artist” (The Artist, 2011).

The Hollywood walk of fame is located in the North-East of Los Angeles. The idea of its creation appeared in 1953, and the first star was mounted in the pavement 15 August 1958. Today on the Boulevard there are more than 2.6 thousand stars, star Goodman was 2604.
