The first Deputy Chairman of the Duma Committee on international Affairs Dmitry Novikov considers unjustified attempts by the US to dictate to Russia, who of statesmen and from which countries to contact her.
The U.S. Department of defense expressed concern about the contacts of the Libyan politicians and military officials with the Russian side recently.
“If the United States believes that Libya became a colony of them, then they can try to dictate the terms of how to behave, Libyan politicians,” Novikov told RIA Novosti on Thursday. He added that if they themselves Libyan politicians believe themselves independent, they themselves will be determined in your choice.
“As for Russia, the attempt to dictate who is who of public figures to contact, and who does not, does not look justified,” — said the MP.
