The Ministry of transport of Turkey confirmed the collision of the helicopter with the TV tower in Istanbul

The Ministry of transport, Maritime and communication of Turkey has confirmed that the helicopter crashed in Istanbul, collided with a television tower. This is with reference to the statement reported by Anadolu Agency.

“The helicopter took off from Ataturk airport, crashed into a television tower fell at 11:20,” reads the Ministry statement.

Informed that the helicopter collided with the tower, reported by witnesses of the disaster. On Board the aircraft were seven people, five of whom died. Among the victims were four of the Russians and the head of one of divisions of the Turkish company Eczacibasi.

The death of the Russians confirmed in the Department of the situational crisis center of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Russia.
