In a shooting at a café in Basel, Switzerland, two people killed, another seriously wounded. This writes the newspaper Basler Zeitung.
The incident occurred on Thursday evening, March 9. In the cafe “56” entered by two unknown men and fired several shots. After that, they disappeared. The police started search of criminals.
As told to the residents, the cafe is not a bad reputation. Previously, the institution was connected with the drug trade, but since the owner changed and it is now “a very ordinary pub.”
As noted by RIA Novosti, the shooting incidents in Switzerland are extremely rare, though the country has one of the world’s largest arsenals of firearms per capita.
