The U.S. Congress banned the Pentagon to cooperate with the “Rosoboronexport”

The house of representatives of the United States Congress passed a bill prohibiting the Department of defense to enter into transactions with the Russian company “Rosoboronexport” at the expense of the us budget, reports RIA Novosti.


 


The document States that “the Minister of defence, or any representative of the Pentagon is prohibited to enter into contracts, memoranda, corporate agreements, and to give grants and to provide loans to “Rosoboronexport” and its subsidiaries”.


 


It is known that “for” the adoption of the bill voted 371 Congressman. However, the head of the Pentagon has a chance to overturn the ban, after consultation with the Secretary of state and Director of U.S. intelligence, if the parties decide that cooperation with the Russian company it is necessary to ensure national security.
