The President of Slovenia, Borut Pahor reiterated the readiness to provide a platform for meeting of heads of Russia and the USA, reports the associated Press.
As stated Pahor Agency, the tradition of the first meeting of the two presidents in Slovenia should be supported. He also noted that Putin and the tramp “a warm welcome in a pleasant atmosphere.”
Earlier it became known that Slovenia is willing to provide a platform for the meeting of Putin and trump. The foreign Minister Karl Erjavec said that the proposal to organize a meeting in Slovenia passed the Russian officials, in particular with her in December 2016, was presented to the Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov. The Minister noted that Slovenia has the experience of organizing such events in 2001, the country became the site of the first meeting between Putin and then US President George Bush. Later after talks with President of Slovenia Borut Pahor, Putin told reporters that Ljubljana has become a meeting place for leaders of Russia and the USA, but it depends on a number of circumstances.
