The Minister of defence of Russia Sergey Shoigu congratulated at the gala concert in the Central academic theatre of the Russian army on March 8 female soldiers – “girls on duty”. “I would like all of us to convey our gratitude to the women and girls of today who in the line of duty. Especially those working in distant Syria, carrying out the responsible task of providing counter-terrorist operations and assistance to the population, medical care to all who need it” – quoted Shoigu in the official Facebook of the Ministry of defense.
Shoigu said that now the army is impossible to imagine without the women in the armed forces 326 thousand and civilian personnel, and those who wear the insignia.
“You are entrusted with the men, on the one hand, honorary, on the other – a difficult burden,” – said the Minister of defence.
He thanked women of the Armed forces “for service and conscientious work, significant contribution to the creation of a strong and efficient army of Russia.” The Minister also wished them health, family happiness, love and prosperity.
