Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he intends on Thursday, March 9, to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow. It is reported by RIA “Novosti”.
Netanyahu plans to discuss with the Russian leader to Syria.
“On Thursday I meet with President Putin in Moscow. The negotiations will be the situation in Syria and attempts at settlement,” he said.
He added that Israel is concerned about Iranian attempts to gain a foothold in Syria. Netanyahu intends to Express “strong disagreement of Israel with it.”
“I hope we can reach a mutual understanding,” he said.
Information about what Putin March 9, will meet with Netanyahu in Moscow was confirmed by press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov.
“Yes,” said Peskov told TASS news Agency.
