MOR: Ukrainian radicals do not affect the movement of trains

Blockade of railway tracks at the borders of Russia in Konotop (Ukraine) undertaken by the Ukrainian radicals, not yet reflected in the movement of trains in the Bryansk region, reports TASS with reference to the press service of the Moscow railway (MZHD) in the Bryansk region.

According to the representative of the press service Inna Chikacheva, the movement of trains on the Ukrainian direction in the Bryansk region is not disturbed. She also noted that today, of the Bryansk region in this direction have only gone freight train, they all decline on the territory of Ukraine. The first passenger trains of the Ukrainian direction, following from the Kiev railway station of Moscow, will leave today after 10:00 GMT. According to the schedule they should arrive at the border in the afternoon. Then we can talk about the situation in passenger transport.

From Moscow through Bryansk and the Ukrainian Konotop to Kiev daily walks only a few passenger trains to Moldovan and Ukrainian formation, and the freight traffic in this area is relatively small, noted in a press-service of the Moscow railway.

On January 25, ATO veterans and participants of the organization of Ukrainian nationalists (OUN, an extremist organization banned in Russia) block the movement by rail in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. During this time, the protesters managed to prevent the movement of 16 million cars.

Last night they began to erect barriers on the railway in Konotop Sumy region on the border with Russia to prevent cargo between the two countries.
