In St. Petersburg bailiffs arrested alcoholic production and equipment company “Group Ladoga”, the amount of tax arrears of more than 720 million rubles. On Monday, March 6, reported on the website of the Directorate of the Federal bailiff service (FSSP) of Russia for the city.
“[In the Department] received a sheet about the Executive actions in which it was necessary to impose a security lien on the property of the debtor. The arbitration court of St.-Petersburg and Leningrad region, which is now considered the materials of the case, came to the conclusion about the necessity of taking these measures”, — said the press service of the Ministry. It is clarified that all the sanctions hit 248 646 bottles of alcoholic beverages.
Products deposited to the General Director “Groups Ladoga” and warned him about criminal liability under article “Illegal actions concerning the property subjected to inventory or attachment, or confiscation” of the criminal code.
After the court decision enters into force, the company will have to repay the debt. Otherwise, the products will be seized and sold in payment of obligations.
In 2015, “Ladoga”, which has long tried to challenge in court the debt of 700 million rubles, decided to declare bankruptcy and transfer control to another legal entity, reported by “Business Petersburg”.
The company “Ladoga” was founded in 1995 and is currently one of the largest Russian companies engaged in the production and trade in alcoholic beverages.
