Accused of several counts of bribery, ex-Governor of the Sakhalin region Alexander Horoshavin demanded from the investigation to explain where the evidence of his guilt, that is, the bribe, the correspondent of RIA Novosti news from the courtroom.
“The charges are not clear to me, I will give evidences on all episodes for a number of episodes shown to me, I don’t even know people referred to by the Prosecutor. I do not understand where is the evidence? Where is the money? Was there a boy? Why they are not in the list of evidence? As there was no handles 36 million,” — expressed his position Khoroshavin.
He also asked where one of the most active participants of criminal group — the former head of the Secretariat of the prizes Vyacheslav Gorbachev.
“According to the investigation, he was holding the bribe, why is he not in this good company on the bench? The result, as I understand it, based solely on his testimony,” said Khoroshavin.
The representative of the state office of public Prosecutor Denis Shtunder said, “we Will work with the evidence provided by the investigation”.
