NEW YORK, March 7. /Offset. TASS Igor Borisenko/. Anti-Russian hysteria in the United States harms the relations between the two countries. This was stated by CNN, the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov.

Press Secretary of the Russian President said that Russia does not interfere in the internal politics of the United States. “We have no intention to interfere in the internal political life of the United States, he said. – The only thing I can say is that this hysteria and public opinion, hysteria in official Washington and hysteria in the American media – all of this causes great damage to the future of our bilateral relations”.

On the question of the accusations against Moscow in the implementation of cyberwoman during the election campaign in the United States, Peskov said that such assertions were false. “It is time someone in the US to ask the question: “are we so weak that a country could intervene in our internal Affairs and to influence our electoral system?”, he said.

Predictable partner for dialogue

Peskov also said that Russia is interested that the US was predictable partner for dialogue. “We are interested in a predictable partner, predictable dialogue, he said. And now that we have, unfortunately, no comfortable conditions for dialogue, of course, is a matter of deep regret”.

According to Peskov, he was disappointed that the issue of relations with Russia turned into a domestic political issue in the United States. “We’re really sorry due to the fact that he was in such a situation, he said. – The emotional extremism, the attempt to present Russia as a toxic country, to try to provide a toxic… (contacts) with the Russian Ambassador”.

Relations are normalized

Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation noted that relations between Russia and the United States over time, will inevitably return to normal. “I think so, he said, referring to the possibility of normalization of relations. Let’s not assess (the situation) within one day, one month or even one year. Let us assess the situation more broadly”.
