Ex-zamglavnogo Internal troops of the interior Ministry arrested for bribe in 10 million roubles
Under arrest Vyacheslav Marchuk will be at least two months.
MOSCOW, March 6. /TASS/. The Moscow garrison military court (MGSS) sanctioned the arrest of the former Deputy commander of the Internal troops of the interior Ministry (now Asgardia) Vyacheslav Varuka suspected of receiving bribes. About TASS reported in the court.
“At the request of the investigator court chose against Varuka a measure of restraint in form of detention,” — said the representative of the court.
Under arrest the former official will be at least two months
Earlier in this case was arrested the other person involved — Alexander Kostin. He is already charged under part 6 of article 290 of the criminal code of Russian Federation (“bribe reception in especially large size”). According to investigators, Costin received a bribe of 10 million rubles in the period from December 2015 to February 2016 to assist in the allocation of additional funds to the office of communications of the General command of the MIA of Russia in the amount of 250 million rubles.
Vyacheslav Marchuk served in various positions in the Ministry of defence of the Russian Federation and then moved in the financial-economic Department of the MIA of Russia. On December 9, 2002 held the position of head of the financial Department of the Main command of Internal troops of the interior Ministry.
A presidential decree of 12 January 2010 was appointed Deputy commander of internal troops of the MIA of Russia for financial and economic Affairs — head of the financial Department of the MIA.
