Aircraft with all-female crew for the first time made a trip around the world

Liner Indian airlines, Air India, whose crew consisted entirely of women made their first round the world flight. Reported by the Associated Press.

The aircraft flew over the Pacific ocean from new Delhi to San Francisco on Monday, February 27. The reverse route, which this time ran over the Atlantic ocean, the plane went on Friday, March 3.

It is noted that the ground personnel preparing the ship to fly, as well as managers who have worked with this flight, too, was female.

The Air India employees have already appealed to the representatives of the Guinness Book of records to record this achievement as a world record.

The flight was timed to coincide with International women’s day on March 8

In January it became known about the plans of Air India to introduce on their flights space reserved exclusively for women.
