MOSCOW, March 6. /TASS/. Arrived in the Mediterranean sea, the newest frigate “Admiral Grigorovich” has replaced the patrol ship “Sharp-witted” in the squadron of the Russian Navy. The journalists said the representative of the black sea fleet Vyacheslav Trukhachev.
As reported previously TASS military-diplomatic source, “Admiral Grigorovich” entered the Mediterranean and joined the permanent Mediterranean grouping of the Russian Navy on 2 March.
“On the basis of a planned rotation of forces TFR “Sharp-witted” in the Mediterranean sea replaced the black sea fleet frigate “Admiral Grigorovich” – said Trukhachev.
Patrol ship “Smetliviy” returned to Sevastopol from the Mediterranean sea. He left Sevastopol on 28 October 2016. From 31 October to 1 November, the crew of the Russian ship took part in the events of the cross Year of Russia and Greece, which took place in Athens and Piraeus. After leaving the Greek port of “Sharp-witted” solved the problem as part of a permanent grouping of the Russian Navy in the Mediterranean sea.
