Zakharova criticized U.S. troops

American soldiers who arrived in the Baltic States and Poland, was to honor the memory of fallen soldiers of the red army, not to participate in the actions of “anti-Russian”. This statement was made by the official representative of the foreign Ministry of Russia Maria Zakharova. Her words are published on the Agency’s website.

“It would be better if instead of the participation in such advocacy campaigns, the Americans found a way to honor the memory of his allies who died for the salvation of Europe from the “brown plague”, – said Zakharov.

The MFA representative noted that under the “propaganda campaigns” meant “race in memory of so-called “cursed soldiers”, the members of the Polish anti-Communist movement.” According to Zakharova, the soldiers of this underground “shot back the red army soldiers who liberated their country from fascism”.

Also, the diplomat said demonstrative photographing U.S. troops and the army of Estonia on the background of the Russian fortress of Ivangorod.

The day of remembrance of the “cursed soldiers” is celebrated in Poland on 1 March. This year the memorable event was attended by U.S. servicemen located on the territory of the Republic.
