U.S. attorney General Jeff sessions announced his withdrawal in any investigations on contacts of the team of President Donald trump during the election campaign.
Sessions noted that doing so after meeting with their staff, who recommended him to withdraw, RIA “Novosti”.
“They said I should not be involved in any investigation about the campaign trump. I believe that these recommendations are correct. I withdraw from such participation, both now and in the future,” said sessions.
Earlier sessions also stated that it did not meet with the Russians to discuss the election campaign. Donald trump before it showed Sesso full support, stating his confidence. The President also didn’t recommend him to recuse myself.
