MEP, member of the Communist party of Bohemia and Moravia (KSCM) Jaromir Kohlicek believes that for Russian citizens it is necessary to introduce visa-free regime: the influx of Russian tourists will have a positive effect on the economy. He declared to the newspaper “Izvestia”.

Earlier, the Prime Minister and the leader of the Czech social democratic party (CSSD) Bohuslav Sobotka said that there is nothing preventing the cooperation of the Czech social Democrats with the Communists, the former limitation has outlived its. Thus, after the parliamentary elections, the ruling coalition can be formed with the Communist party of Bohemia and Moravia (KSCM).

“Russia is a European state, and we support the idea of cooperation from Lisbon to Vladivostok. HRCM has always opposed sanctions not only on Russia, but other countries, particularly Iran. In addition, we believe that it is necessary to introduce visa-free regime for Russian citizens because the influx of Russian tourists will have a positive effect on the economy of the country”, — the newspaper quotes words of the Deputy of the European Parliament, member of the HRCM Jaromir Kohlicek.

As stated by the Deputy of the European Parliament, member of the HRCM Katerina the End, the people of the country should be given the opportunity to speak about NATO membership.

“We do not agree with the Euro-Atlantic course in its foreign policy, therefore, proposed to hold a referendum on the country’s membership in NATO. Prague has no need to be part of the military unit, which we consider to be inherently aggressive. From the Czech Republic are demanding higher defence spending that, in our opinion, is meaningless, since we do not threaten neither Russia nor any other state. Money can be a more effective way to use for improvements in the social sector”, — leads edition of the words of the Deputy.

In 1995, the CSSD at its Congress in the city of Bohumin has adopted a resolution on the impossibility of cooperation with the Communist party and still they followed, though at the level of local governments coalition of social Democrats and Communists in recent years have repeatedly created.

Currently in power in the Republic is a three-party coalition government consisting of the social Democrats, the centrist movement ANO and centre-right Christian-democratic movement. The next parliamentary elections scheduled for October this year.
