The second regiment of anti-aircraft missile systems s-400 “Triumph” will be put on combat duty in the Crimea in the second half of 2017. This was reported by a source in law enforcement bodies, reports TASS.
“Air defense of the Crimea in the second half of 2017 will increase due to the second regiment of s-400” — said the Agency interlocutor. According to him, he will be in the Western part of the Crimean Peninsula.
Source TASS said that in 2018 the combat strength of both regiments missile systems s-400 will be increased by the inclusion of the third division.
That in the Crimea it is planned to deploy more s-400 “Triumph”, reported in January, the commander of the 4th army of air force and air defense Lieutenant-General Viktor Sevostyanov, but he did not call the timing of the placement of SAM.
